Senior Backend Developer (Rust/Python/WASM) - Remote

Your qualifications and skills: 

• Degree in computer science, software engineering or comparable qualifications

• First practical experience in Rust or strong interest in development in Rust

• Basic knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL

• Understanding of API design (REST and/or gRPC)

• Several years of experience in backend development, especially with Rust

• Proficiency in implementing microservices and cloud-native applications

• Experience working with Kubernetes and managing distributed systems

• Understanding of message and event broker systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ

• Strong knowledge of API design and optimization (REST, gRPC)

Desirable for both seniority levels: 

• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture

• Knowledge in the application of security and performance optimizations in the backend area

• Interest or experience in working with data-driven applications and/or artificial intelligence
