Job Description:
As a Freelance Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for the Africa Real Estate Expo. You will target and attract exhibitors, investors, and potential partners from Africa and beyond to support the growth and visibility of our event. This role is exclusively commission-based, meaning your earnings will be directly linked to the sales and partnerships you generate.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Business Development: Identify and target prospects in the real estate and investment sectors, including real estate developers, institutional investors, construction companies, etc.
- Negotiation and Relationship Management: Contact prospects, manage sales negotiations, and guide them through the process of registering for the event.
- Partnership Management: Build strategic partnerships with businesses, associations, and institutions to expand the event's audience.
- Market Research: Monitor trends in the African and global real estate sectors, analyze the needs of exhibitors and investors, and propose tailored solutions.
- Reporting: Track the results of your sales efforts, provide regular performance reports, and contribute to the event's overall goals.
- Customer Communication: Ensure high-quality client follow-up, respond to inquiries, and provide event information.

- Sales or Business Development Experience: Proven experience in prospecting and managing clients within real estate, events, or investment sectors is preferred.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate and close deals.

- Self-motivated and Organized: Ability to work independently with effective time and priority management.
- Knowledge of African Real Estate Market: A solid understanding of the African real estate market and investment trends is a plus.
