The Position:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Implement and maintain data infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, private cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Support the development of CI/CD pipelines and ETL workflows for seamless data processing.
  • Utilize programming languages like Python, Scala, or Spark for data transformation and processing.
  • Manage databases, data warehouses, and data lakes to ensure data storage efficiency.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data infrastructure performance for reliability and availability.

Profil recherché pour le poste : Data Engineer - Bruxelles

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Possess strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or R and experience with data processing tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies, SQL and NoSQL databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Have experience with data pipeline tools, data modelling, and cloud data infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Exhibit exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, as well as strong communication skills in English. Proficiency in French is considered an additional asset, or the readiness to rapidly acquire French language skills is expected.
