Position : Welder - Cape Town

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding, cutting, and fabricating metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding based on project requirements.
  • Cut and shape metal components using power tools and torches.
  • Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed.
  • Follow safety procedures to prevent workplace hazards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.

Required profile for job ad : Welder - Cape Town

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.
  • Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is a plus.
