Waiter - Narok- Masai Mara

Key Responsibilities:

• Seats guests, takes orders, serves food and beverages, presents the menu, answers inquiries, and clears and resets tables in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepares invoices, processes payments, and performs cashier duties. Verifies cash received and ensures the validity of credit cards, strictly adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage items, recommends pairings, and promotes alternative options.
• Maintains flexibility whenever possible to accommodate special requests from guests regarding specific beverage preparation methods and ingredients.
• Maintains a neat and clean environment by cleaning equipment, displays, floors, and other areas.
• Assists in managing inventory by monitoring stock levels and placing store requisitions in accordance with established par stock levels or as directed by the manager. Collect store requisitions promptly, adhering to the designated store timings.
• Accounts for all cash and secures money drops in accordance with hotel and company policies. Ensures that all sales are accurately recorded and reconciled, following established procedures for ordering, voiding, or correcting items.
• Close and open the dining area on time, ensuring proper setup for the day in accordance with established opening and closing procedures. Assist with inventory management as needed, including resolving any discrepancies in inventory.
• Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries courteously and efficiently, ensuring that problems are resolved to their satisfaction.
• Ensure that all daily operations of the department align with the company's Privacy Policy. Execute any other reasonable duties as assigned by management as needed.
