We are looking for a Vice Principal of Academics.The Vice Principal of Academics is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the academic programs and ensuring the highest standards of educational excellence at our School. The role involves curriculum development, teacher supervision, and fostering an environment that promotes student learning and achievement in a multicultural setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive academic curriculum that meets international standards.
• Ensure that teaching methods and materials are up-to-date and effective.
• Monitor and analyse student performance data to inform strategic academic decisions.
• Ensure the school offers a balanced curriculum that caters to students’ diverse interests and career aspirations.

Teacher Management:

• Lead the recruitment, training, and professional development of teaching staff for the Primary and Secondary schools.
• Provide professional development opportunities for teachers.
• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
• Collaborate with teachers to set instructional goals and ensure consistency in pedagogy across grade levels.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and academic collaboration amongst teachers.

Student Achievement:

• Develop and implement strategies to support student academic success and well-being.
• Monitor and analyse student performance data to drive instructional improvements.
• Address academic concerns and provide individualised interventions for students as needed.
• Organise and oversee standardised testing, exams, and other assessments.
• Implement and oversee programs to support diverse learning needs, including ESL support.

Parental and Community Engagement:

• Build positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider school community to promote academic initiatives.
• Represent the school in academic conferences, workshops, and professional networks.
• Support extracurricular programs and initiatives that enhance students' academic experience.

Administrative Duties:

• Develop and manage the academic budget in collaboration with the Principal and finance team.
• Lead the development of the academic calendar and the organisation of academic and co-curricular events.
• Act as the Principal’s delegate in academic matters during their absence.
