Position : Veterinary Officer - Ngong

We are looking for a Veterinary Officer.
Responsibilities :

  • Conduct routine consultations, vaccinations, and comprehensive physical examinations for small animals.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work, X-rays, and ultrasounds, to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Perform soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures with a high level of proficiency.
  • Manage acute cases and provide life-saving interventions as required during emergencies.
  • Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative care clearly to pet owners.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed digital medical records for all patients.
  • Must have at least two years of experience in small animal medicine, preferably within a clinic set-up.
  • Must be registered with the Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB) and hold a current practising certificate.

Required profile for job ad : Veterinary Officer - Ngong

  • At least two (2) years of hands-on experience in small animal medicine.
  • Must be registered with the Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB).
  • Must possess a valid and current KVB practising certificate.
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) degree from a recognised institution
  • Proven experience working in a private clinic or hospital set-up is highly preferred.
