Position : Travel Consultant - Nairobi

We are looking for a Travel Consultant.
Responsibilities :

  • Handle flight reservations, bookings, re-issuances, refunds, and ticketing using Amadeus
  • Advise clients on best travel options (routes, prices, and schedules) based on their needs
  • Generate travel itineraries and provide visa and travel advisory support
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and individual travel clients
  • Ensure all bookings comply with IATA regulations and company policies
  • Maintain updated knowledge of airline policies, fare rules, and industry trends
  • Provide after-sales support and handle customer inquiries or issues promptly
  • Ensure timely invoicing, payment follow-up, and accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to meet monthly sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • Offer support outside regular working hours when needed (flexibility required)

Required profile for job ad : Travel Consultant - Nairobi

  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar travel or ticketing consultant role
  • Certified knowledge of IATA standards and ticketing procedures
  • Proficient in Amadeus GDS (must be able to work independently on the platform)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Well-organised, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be reliable, trustworthy, and a strong team player
  • Willingness to be available outside regular hours when needed
  • Candidates with their own client accounts will be prioritised and may be offered a higher package
