Position : Swimming Lifeguard - Sagamu

We are looking for a Swimming Lifeguard.
Responsibilities :
Supervision and Monitoring:

  • Lifeguards constantly observe swimmers and water users to identify potential hazards and risks. 

Enforcement of Safety Rules:

  • They ensure that swimmers follow established rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. 

First Aid and CPR:

  • Lifeguards are trained to provide basic first aid, CPR, and other emergency medical care to injured or distressed individuals. 

Rescue Operations:

  • They are prepared to rescue swimmers or water users who are in distress or danger, using various rescue techniques and equipment. 

Communication and Education:

  • Lifeguards communicate with swimmers and beachgoers, providing safety information, warnings, and instructions. 

Facility Maintenance:

  • They may also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the pool area, including cleaning debris and ensuring proper water quality. 

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Lifeguards typically document incidents, injuries, and other relevant information as part of their duties.
