Job Summary
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all supply chain activities—from sourcing raw agricultural materials to production planning, warehousing, and distribution of finished products. This role ensures cost-effective, reliable, and compliant supply chain operations while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Chain Planning & Coordination

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Plan and manage procurement, production planning, inventory control, and distribution.
  • Forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels for raw materials and finished goods.

2. Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Source and manage suppliers of raw materials, packaging, and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and logistics partners.

3. Logistics & Distribution

  • Oversee warehousing, transportation, and dispatch operations.
  • Ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe delivery of products to customers.
  • Monitor and optimize logistics costs and operational performance.

4. Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure supply chain compliance with food safety, health, and regulatory standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, Department of Health regulations).
  • Support traceability, recall readiness, and audit requirements.

5. Cost Control & Performance Management

  • Monitor supply chain KPIs, budgets, and operational performance.
  • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

6. Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and develop supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

7. Reporting & Systems

  • Prepare regular supply chain reports for management.
  • Ensure effective use of ERP, inventory, and planning systems.

Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in supply chain management, preferably in food processing or FMCG.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations.
  • Solid understanding of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
