Expand your skills and make lasting connections in this position as part of ATAF’s Executive Management team but only if you want to make a difference in and share our conviction that better tax administrations will enhance economic growth, increase accountability of countries to their citizens and mobilise domestic resources more effectively.
Given the strategic nature of this job and being part of ATAF’s Executive Management Team the person we seek to appoint must;
- Be able to lead on the development, achievement and reporting of ATAF’s strategic plan whilst not hesitating to propose strategic interventions should achievement of key deliverables be at risk;
- Have the awesome capability to further develop existing relations with our key stakeholders which are the 43 revenue authorities who are our members, donors who share our vision and other continental and international organisations active in our environment.
- In promoting ATAF’s credibility and reputation, seek out new resources and mobilise such to support and expand the work of the organisation;
- Have the foresight and strategic capability to drive achievement of the planning, monitoring and evaluation, membership and reporting functions.
Required profile for job ad : Strategy, Planning and International Cooperation Executive - Pretoria
The ideal candidate that will attract our attention is one with 7+ years’ work experience in Tax Policy and/or Tax Administration Management some of which has to be at Senior Management with Board and stakeholder engagement experience. You should also ideally have a post graduate qualification in a tax related field and be fluent in English and/or French.
Finally, you will be required to frequently travel both on the continent and internationally so a valid passport with no restrictions will be essential.
In return ATAF is willing to offer you a competitive remuneration package as part of a four year contract based at its offices in Pretoria, South Africa.
