Position : Store Assistant - Cape Town

We are looking for a Store Assistant.
Responsibilities :

  • To ensure the achievement of the stores financial performance by driving and maximising sales, tracking daily targets, weekly and monthly sales plans and proactively taking appropriate action as required.
  • To efficiently manage and control all operational activities of the team.
  • To successfully manage the team execution of all sales and promotional standards are maintained and that the appearance of the the company’s image.

  • Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional education in retail management or business can be beneficial.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and provide excellent service.

  • Basic Math Skills: Ability to handle cash transactions, manage sales, and perform basic arithmetic operations.
  • Attention to Detail: Careful attention to detail for tasks such as inventory management and ensuring accurate pricing.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for resolving customer issues and handling complaints effectively.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage stock, displays, and store layouts efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Technology: Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail technologies.
