Position : Sonographer - Accra

We are looking for a Sonographer.
Responsibilities :

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound scans including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular, and soft-tissue imaging.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and answering questions to ensure comfort.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Capture clear and accurate images for interpretation by radiologists or physicians.
  • Review and evaluate images to ensure they meet diagnostic standards before submitting reports.
  • Maintain detailed patient records and ensure confidentiality of medical information.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to discuss findings when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control procedures, and professional standards.
  • Assist physicians during specialized or complex examinations.
  • Report equipment faults and ensure timely servicing.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training.
