Position : Senior Human Resource Manager - Harare

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Human Resource Manager to lead and oversee the organization’s end-to-end human resource function. This role requires a seasoned HR professional who can align people strategies with business objectives, drive organizational development, and foster a high-performance culture while ensuring full compliance with labor laws and best HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s long-term goals.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational design.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead senior-level recruitment and succession planning initiatives.
  • Oversee employer branding, hiring strategies, and onboarding frameworks.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and ethical workplace culture.
  • Handle complex employee relations matters, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

Performance & Development

  • Design and manage performance management systems and leadership development programs.
  • Identify training needs and implement learning and development initiatives across the organization.

Compensation, Benefits & Rewards

  • Oversee compensation structures, benefits programs, and incentive schemes to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.

Policy, Compliance & Governance

  • Develop, review, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company regulations.

HR Operations & Analytics

  • Lead HR operations including payroll oversight, HR systems, and reporting.
  • Analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional HR certification preferred).
  • Minimum 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and organizational development.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
