Position : Senior Electrical Engineer (SMA Certified) - Juba

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer (SMA Certified).
Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance as per the original equipment manufacturer manual, with capabilities for remote monitoring and configuration.
  • Conduct general checkup procedures every four months, including:
    • Inspecting for ground erosion near system footings.
    • Ensuring electrical enclosures are secure and accessible only to authorized personnel.
    • Checking for corrosion on enclosures and racking systems.
    • Maintaining site cleanliness, especially around inverter pads.
    • Inspecting for loose wires and signs of animal infestation.
  • Service inverters quarterly, ensuring proper ventilation to prevent overheating, and maintain a voltage logbook to track fluctuations.
  • Perform cabling maintenance by ensuring firm and reliable connections, checking tightness quarterly.
  • Protect system components from external elements, ensuring they are sealed to prevent rodent entry and potential short circuits.

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Certified SMA Engineer
  • Experience in electrical maintenance, particularly with solar power systems.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with SMA Systems,preventive and reactive maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Physical stamina for outdoor work and equipment handling.
