Position : Senior Audit Manager - Kumasi

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Audit Manager to lead and oversee the organization’s internal and/or external audit functions. The Senior Audit Manager will be responsible for managing audit teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening internal controls, mitigating risks, and providing high-level advisory support to senior leadership. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a deep understanding of financial, operational, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual audit plans aligned with organizational risk priorities.
  • Lead and manage internal and/or external audit engagements from planning to completion.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management systems, and governance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify control weaknesses and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
  • Present audit findings and risk assessments to executive management and the Board/Audit Committee.
  • Oversee fraud investigations and special audit assignments when required.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop audit team members to enhance performance and professional growth.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA (mandatory).
  • Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive audit experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management frameworks, and financial regulations.
  • Experience with ERP systems and audit software.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
