Position : Security Manager - Karibib

We are looking for a Security Manager.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Professional Client liaison.
  • Conduct risk assessments and draft corrective procedures.
  • Managing of Security Officers.
  • Conduct investigations and disciplinary hearings
  • Securing new business.
  • Managing day to day operations of your security team.
  • Planning and organising operations in area of responsibility.
  • Supervision of progress and results.
  • Providing guidance to team members.
  • Review/discuss monthly results.

Required profile for job ad : Security Manager - Karibib

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least five years (5) experience within the security industry of which two years should be in a Managerial position within the Security Industry
  • Diploma in Health and Safety or Security
  • Police or Military experience will be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication skills (verbally and in writing) in English
  • Driver License
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Good knowledge of Namibia Labour Act (Act No 11 of 2007)
  • Good knowledge of the Namibia Mine Health and Safety Regulations
  • Clean Criminal Record (police clearance not older than 6 months to be provided)
  • Good Health – medically fit
  • Namibian Citizen
  • Prepared to move residence to Omaruru/Karibib
  • Proven record of Risk Assessments and Mitigation Measures implementation
  • Proven record of incident investigations and corrective actions planning
