Position : Sales Representatives - Harare

The SMEAZ Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (SMEAZ SACCOS) is a dynamic and growing Savings and Credit Cooperative (SACCO) registered with the Ministry of Women Affairs, Community and SME Development, committed to empowering individuals and small businesses through accessible financial solutions. As a member-owned institution, we prioritize the financial well-being of our members by providing a safe place to save and access to affordable credit facilities. 
We are seeking highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Representatives to join our team. The Sales Representatives will be responsible for promoting our SACCO's products and services, recruiting new members, and building strong relationships with potential clients. The ideal candidates will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of financial products and services.
Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential members through various sales and marketing activities.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to educate potential members about the benefits of joining our SACCO.
  • Explain SACCO products.
  • Provide ongoing support and relationship management to new members.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports.
  • Represent the SACCO at industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitor information.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services, particularly savings and credit facilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in the use of digital platforms and CRM systems an advantage.
  • Experience working with SMEs.
