Position : Sales Representative - Kampala

The Role:
The successful Sales Rep will be responsible for achieving their sales goals to facilitate our aggressive but controlled growth targets. Duties in this position include:

  • Acquire new accounts through prospecting and networking
  • Able to qualify opportunities to determine scope and develop proposals
  • Identify prospect security and technical requirements
  • Successfully demonstrate our solutions
  • Work with internal team to ensure successful delivery of solutions to customer and always maintaining a good relationship with the client
  • Provide implementation team with documentation for successful onboarding of clients
  • Participate in all scheduled sales team meetings
  • Travel as needed to events prospects and other areas
  • Handling technical presentations at trade shows or marketing activities and proactively communicating with prospects and customers
  • Develop and follow a sales plan that is reviewed weekly

Qualifications & Skills:
The candidate must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales or Marketing or equivalent experience
  • Proven 2+ years track record of selling security solutions such as Alarms, CCTV, Access Control     and IT Solutions
  • Ability to understand and grasp latest technology advancements in the industry
  • Experience in presenting technical solutions to meet customer needs
  • Self-starter, cooperative attitude and team player
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and time management skill
  • Must possess a high degree of competence, maturity, adaptability, integrity and initiative
  • Clear, logical and persuasive communication skills
  • Must pay attention to detail
