Sales & Purchase Engineer - Dar Es Salaam

Our client is the pioneer in quality rebar manufacturing in East Africa. Their network & supply is widely spread across each part of country as well as to the neighbouring countries like Zambia, Burundi, Malawi, Congo, Rwanda, etc. They have high-end steel plant that manufactures quality rebars & other allied steel products complying international standards. With a steadfast commitment to growth, innovation, and operational excellence, they are now seeking experienced Purchasing and Sales Officers who will be responsible in purchasing waste lube oil and selling the Lubricants product to achieve maximum company requirement and growth within the Lubricants Market.
Responsibilities :

• Establishing strategic plans of buying waste lube oil in line with company’s targets.
• Developing and implementing buying and selling action-plans within different channels: key accounts, distributors, resellers, CODOs, export & retail network.
• Surveying the requirement needs & trends, as well as, tracking the competitors.
• Analyzing country market trends and discovering innovative opportunities for growth
• Identifying new product prospects, and/or product, packaging, and service improvements buying/business development.
• Managing prospective clients and determining the frequency to solicit them to build a sustainable base for regional growth.
• Overall commercial responsibility of the lubricant business in the country.
• Carrying out promotion and marketing campaigns activities supporting business growth and brand awareness, in liaison with company marketing team.
• Interacting with other team members to grow the company’s lubricant business.
• Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly buy/sales goals.
