Position : Sales Officer - Bukedea

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Sales Professional to join our team in the construction and building materials sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and promoting our range of high-quality hardware and construction materials to contractors, developers, and individual customers.
Responsibilities :

  1. Sales and Business Development:

    • Identify and target potential clients in the construction and building industry.
    • Present and demonstrate products to meet client needs and specifications.
    • Negotiate pricing and close sales to achieve revenue goals.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
    • Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries or complaints professionally.
  3. Market Research and Analysis:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activity.
    • Identify opportunities to introduce new products and expand market share.
  4. Inventory and Product Knowledge:

    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of construction materials, tools, and hardware.
    • Collaborate with inventory and procurement teams to ensure availability of products.
  5. Reporting and Strategy:

    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including forecasts and performance analysis.
    • Contribute to sales strategies to meet business objectives.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Proven experience in sales, preferably in construction or building materials.
    • Strong knowledge of construction tools, materials, and industry standards.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and other sales applications.

    Education:

    • Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Social Science or a related field (preferred).

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction or hardware industry.
