Position : Sales Manager - Nairobi
We are looking for a Sales Manager.
The Sales Manager will be key in driving business growth by generating and converting leads, maximising revenue, and establishing a high-performing sales team. This role requires a leader not a follower, who is ready to take charge, build scalable systems from scratch, and set the foundation for sustainable success.
Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and meet ambitious targets for the company.
- Identify new business opportunities and create innovative strategies to capture market share and increase revenue generation
- Collaborate with the management to align sales strategies with the company’s vision.

Lead Generation & Conversion
- Design and implement effective lead generation and conversion strategies to enhance clients engagement and boost sales of the company
- Leverage a strong digital presence to attract and retain local and international clients.

System Development & Efficiency
- Build and implement scalable sales systems, processes, and CRM tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Adapt quickly to the startup’s evolving needs, ensuring processes are agile and fit for purpose.

Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Strengthen relationships with developers, property owners, and clients to expand the company’s network.
- Represent the company in high-stakes negotiations and strategic partnerships.

Team Leadership & Management
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of professionalism, innovation, and excellence in the organization.
- Provide training and development to equip the team with skills necessary for success in a dynamic startup environment.

Performance Management
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership.

Key Requirements
1. Background & Experience
- Proven track record in real estate sales with significant experience closing deals and driving revenue growth.
- At least 5 years of sales experience, including 2+ years in a senior management role.
- Experience working in a startup or similarly dynamic environment is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling sales teams and systems from scratch.
2. Skills
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and build high-performing teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in using CRM and sales automation tools to streamline operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
