Position : Risk and Compliance Manager - Bulawayo

We are looking for a Risk and Compliance Manager.
The Risk and Compliance Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while ensuring the organization complies with all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. This role plays a key part in safeguarding the organization’s reputation, financial stability, and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Identify potential risks (financial, operational, legal, reputational) and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure risk awareness and adherence to compliance standards
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on risk management and compliance practices
  • Prepare and present risk and compliance reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CRM, CAMS, CISA, or equivalent are an advantage
  • 7–12 years of proven experience in risk management, compliance, or audit roles
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
