Position : Reservations Manager - Maun

Reservations Manager  - (Maun, Botswana)
Job Purpose:To oversee and manage all aspects of the reservation process, ensuring efficient, accurate, and customer-focused service to enhance sales and maintain strong relationships with agents and clients. This includes supervising the reservations team, managing booking systems, supporting marketing efforts, and optimizing yield management to maximize revenue.
Required Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in a related field

Technical Competencies & Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in reservations management or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and software (e.g., ResRequest, QuickBooks)
  • Handle invoicing, monitor payments, and reconcile accounts.
  • Ability to do weekly and monthly department result reporting
  • Ability to manage reservation systems
  • Ability to create itineraries and costing for private safari’s
  • Familiarity with the Botswana tourism industry.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French and German is a plus.
