Position : Receptionist - Nairobi

We are looking for a Receptionist.
Job Summary
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for Prestige Global Academy, responsible for managing front office operations, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support. The role ensures a professional, welcoming environment for students, parents, staff, and visitors while maintaining efficient communication and record management.
Key Responsibilities
Front Office Management

  • Greet and assist visitors, parents, and students in a professional manner
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area

Communication & Coordination

  • Direct inquiries to relevant departments or staff members
  • Relay messages accurately and promptly
  • Support internal communication between staff and departments

Administrative Support

  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and document management
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Support admissions and administrative processes when required

Records & Documentation

  • Maintain visitor logs and student attendance records where applicable
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier services
  • Ensure proper filing and storage of documents

Security & Access Control

  • Monitor visitor access and ensure compliance with school security procedures
  • Issue visitor badges and maintain entry records

Key Requirements
Education

  • Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field

Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in a receptionist or front office role, preferably in a school or corporate environment

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic administrative systems
