Quality Control Officer - Kampala

We are looking for a Quality Control Officer.
Responsibilities :

• Conduct Quality Control Tests: Perform routine tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Analyse Data: Analyse test results, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to improve product quality.
• Implement Quality Control Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor Production Process: Monitor the production process to ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with approved procedures and specifications and also take part in the whole production process ensuring that the production team assures the product quality at all stages of production.
• Investigate Non-Conformities: Investigate non-conformities, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain Quality Records: Maintain accurate and complete quality records, including test results, certificates of analysis, and batch records.
• Collaborate with Production Team: Collaborate with the production team to resolve quality-related issues and improve product quality.
• Participate in Audits: Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Stay Up-to-Date with Regulations: Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards, and implement changes as necessary.
• R&D: Supports in development of new products as and when management wishes so.
