Project Geologist - Exploration - Mankono

Minimum qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Geology mandatory.

Working Experience

• A minimum of 7 years of experience working as an Exploration Geologist for orogenic gold.
• Demonstrated strong experience in conducting drilling program, geological mapping and interpretation.
• Experience in managing exploration projects from early stage to resources definition.

Additional qualifications – competency requirements

• Excellent GIS skills and proficiency in Micromine/Geosoft target/Leapgrog software.
• Strong knowledge of structural geology and ore deposit formation, particularly with focus on orogenic greenstone gold deposits
• Good understanding of the technical aspects of diamond and RC drilling.
• Proven track record of contributing to the discovery of mineral deposits.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and regulations related to mineral exploration.
• Willingness to work in remote areas in basic field camp conditions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• English and French speaking.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Excellent reporting skills, organisation and communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Diligence and attention to details.
