Position : Project Field Officer - Subukia

We are looking for Project Field Officer.
Responsibilities :

  • Implement and monitor activities related to the Pyrethrum Farming Support Project, the Pyrethrum Producers' Cooperative Management Support Project, and Other agricultural related projects
  • Perform filed-based accounting and administrative tasks associated with the projects
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination with on-site stakeholders.
  • Support additional tasks related to GPI Kenya Nakuru field office operations.

Working Conditions:

  • Location: Based in Subukia, with occasional work in the Nakuru Town Office
  • Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Contract Duration: Until the end of 2025, with possible extension based on performance and project funding availability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Community Development, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in agriculture or community development projects.
  • Valid motorcycle driving license (essential)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in NGOs or non-profit organisations.
  • Experience working with cooperatives, or Pyrethrum value chain.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when engaging with beneficiaries and stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid auto-mobile driving license (advantage).
