Position : Programs Manager - Accra
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Programs Manager to support the development and execution of a variety of programs at Crowdpen. This entry to mid-level role is perfect for someone passionate about digital creation and eager to gain experience in program management and writer support.
Responsibilities :
- Program Development & Implementation:
- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of a range of programs, including workshops, challenges, webinars, and mentorship opportunities.
- Develop and maintain program schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, community) to ensure program alignment with overall brand goals.
- Participant Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants, addressing inquiries and providing support.
- Manage participant recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Monitor participant progress and engagement throughout program duration.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive community environment for participants.
- Content Management:
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure program-related content is effectively featured and promoted.
- Support the creation and curation of high-quality content for program participants and the broader Crowdpen community.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate records and databases of program activities and participants.
- Prepare reports and analyze program data to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person events (if applicable).
- Communication & Outreach:
- Draft and disseminate communications to program participants, stakeholders, and the broader community.
- Assist in managing social media accounts and other communication channels related to Crowdpen programs.
- Create content for program newsletters, updates, and promotional materials.
Required profile for job ad : Programs Manager - Accra
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Education, Project Management or related)
- 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in program coordination, events management, or related fields
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a fast-paced team.
- Passion for supporting creators and fostering a thriving online community.
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with writers or in a publishing environment
- Familiarity with digital content platforms or content management systems
- Basic understanding of social media management for professional accounts
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile).
- Experience in event planning or workshop coordination
