We are a small, dynamic tech company seeking a versatile and experienced Product Owner to join our agile development team. In this role, you will serve as a Product Owner (PO), Business Analyst (BA), and Scrum Master, ensuring the success of our projects by bridging the gap between stakeholders and our small team of developers.
Responsibilities:

  • Product Ownership:

    • Define and prioritize the product backlog to align with business goals and stakeholder needs.
    • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that the team delivers value-driven solutions.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Business Analysis:

    • Analyze and document business processes, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team to ensure alignment.
    • Support the team in understanding and implementing business requirements effectively.
  • Scrum Master Duties:

    • Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
    • Promote agile principles and practices within the team.
    • Identify and remove impediments to ensure team productivity and efficiency.

Profil recherché pour le poste : Product Owner (Agile Project) - Yaoundé

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or as a Scrum Master within agile projects.
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Trello) to enhance team communication and design workflows.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Experience in project management, agile projects, or similar fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Scrum (e.g., CSM, PSM) or Product Ownership (e.g., CSPO, PSPO).
  • Familiarity with software development processes and technologies.
  • Experience working in small, cross-functional teams.
