Position : P1 Teacher - Nairobi

We are looking for a P1 Teacher.
Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute detailed lesson plans and learning activities aligned with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
  • Deliver engaging, learner-centred lessons that utilise innovative methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Integrate digital tools and instructional resources to enhance classroom delivery and promote student engagement and participation.
  • Conduct continuous formative and summative assessments to track and document learner progress across various competencies.
  • Establish a safe, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that promotes CBC core values and positive behaviour.
  • Identify students requiring special intervention and collaborate with school leadership and parents to support their needs.
  • Maintain professional documentation and participate in workshops and continuous professional development (CPD) programs.
  • Support holistic student development through active participation in co-curricular activities, projects, and mentorship.

Required profile for job ad : P1 Teacher - Nairobi

  • P1 Certificate / Diploma in Education (mandatory).
  • Valid TSC registration/license (mandatory).
  • CBC training certification (mandatory).
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Experience in implementing the CBC curriculum will be an added advantage.
  • Passion for teaching and learner development.
