Position : Occupational Health Nurse - Carletonville, Welkom, Rustenburg

We are looking for Occupational Health Nurse 
Responsibilities:

  • Perform all duties in accordance with South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core Standards
  • Ability to carry out examinations and procedures in term of the governing legislation for occupational health
  • Conduct all types of medical fitness assessments, pre-employment, transfer and annual and exit
  • Assist with primary health care management
  • Manage and appropriate referrals of minor injuries on duty
  • Performance of audiometry, spirometry, and vision screening and highlighting significant abnormalities to the Occupational Medical Practitioner
  • Assisting Clinic Manager with monthly reports and audits
  • Perform standby duties

  • BCur Nursing degree/diploma
  • Current South African Nursing Council (SANC) registration mandatory
  • BTech in Occupational Health
  • Dispensing certificate
  • Expert knowledge of the, Mine Health and Safety Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act), Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and ISO/IEC 17020-201
  • Certificate in audiometry, spirometry, and vision screening
  • Computer proficiency – MS Office, SAP or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Occupational Health
