Position : Merchandiser Intern - Industrial & Scientific Products - Nairobi CBD

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Frequent engagement with and complete understanding of the mechanics/utilisation/specifications of Industrial & Scientific products/equipment as showcased on our e-store
  • Merchandising lead on identifying, assessing, and uploading Industrial & Scientific products on our website
  • Up-to-date on trends and market analysis in Industrial & Scientific Products
  • Ensure effective merchandising and cataloging of Industrial & Scientific products
  • Offer technical customer support in Industrial & Scientific Products
  • Identifying reasons and ways to revitalise or remove dormant Industrial & Scientific Products
  • Working with other Merchandisers in the team and the customer service team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile for job ad : Merchandiser Intern - Industrial & Scientific Products - Nairobi CBD

  • Diploma in Industrial Equipment/Engineering, Industrial Chemicals, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferable, experience in technical product(s) merchandising, technical customer service and sales with Industrial & Scientific Products.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, management, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service and customer care skills
  • Experience in the Industrial and Scientific industry with IT, Retail, or e-Business industry is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and proactively influence others.
  • Interest/Passion in Industrial & Scientific Products.
