Position : Meat Processing Officer - Dar Es Salaam

A food processing and manufacturing company in Dar es Salaam is seeking a motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Meat Processor. Our goal is to create joyful moments in every home across Tanzania.
Responsibilities :

  • Cut and process meat according to customer specifications.
  • Use meat equipment and machines such as meat slicers and grinders.
  • Weigh and package meat products for sale and distribution.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
  • Ensure that meat products are handled, stored, and prepared according to food safety standards and regulations.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions, taking orders, and making recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed.
  • Train and supervise other staff members as required

Required profile for job ad : Meat Processing Officer - Dar Es Salaam

  • Proficient in communicating (both verbally and in writing) in Swahili; knowledge of English is a plus.
  • Minimum of a secondary school education. Additional training will be beneficial.
  • Work experience and training in meat processing is highly advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills to address challenges in meat processing.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good physical strength, stamina, and ability to work in various environments.
  • Skills or ability to operate meat processing machines and tools.
