Position : Marketing Manager - International
Western Governors University College (WGU College) is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing initiatives in a fully remote environment. This role is responsible for developing and managing digital marketing campaigns, brand awareness strategies, and student recruitment efforts. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven marketer with expertise in digital advertising, content marketing, and performance analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and student enrollment.
- Manage digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
- Oversee content creation, ensuring messaging aligns with the college’s mission and audience.
- Analyze marketing performance metrics and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop promotional materials and marketing collateral.
- Manage partnerships with media agencies, influencers, and third-party vendors.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into marketing initiatives.
- Lead A/B testing and conversion optimization efforts to improve engagement.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective execution.
- Support brand positioning and reputation management strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in higher education, online learning, or edtech.
- Certifications: Google Ads, HubSpot, or other relevant marketing certifications are a plus.
Skills:
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, social media, and lead generation.
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, Meta Ads, and SEO platforms.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze KPIs and marketing trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and team leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with student recruitment marketing and enrollment strategies.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM) and marketing automation tools.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and education industry trends.
