We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position with a potential pathway to Australian residency, ideal for candidates from South Africa, Zimbabwe, or Zambia looking to emigrate and grow with a supportive and established company.
As a single-person department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing a variety of industrial and mobile machinery essential to our operations. Occasional support from additional staff and external specialists will be provided as needed.
Responsibilities :

• Maintain and troubleshoot mobile equipment, including trucks, trailers, cranes, forklifts, and passenger vehicles.
• Maintain and repair metal processing equipment, such as laser cutters, plasma tables, air compressors, welders, and dust collectors.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and handle breakdowns effectively.
• Plan and schedule maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
• Prepare concise maintenance reports to assist in management decision-making.
