Logistics Officer - Juba, Kuajok, Yambio, Wau, Bor

We are seeking a talented and qualified Logistics Officer to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for all supply chain management duties including selecting carriers, researching shipping methods, assessing budgets, and organising storage. The candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail to oversee daily operations and logistics employees. In addition to having excellent organisational skills, you should possess in-depth knowledge of logistics and inventory systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates.2. Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.3. Supervising logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.4. Organizing warehouse, labelling goods, plotting routes, and processing shipments.5. Responding to any issues or complaints.6. Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.7. Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.8. Evaluating budgets and expenditures.9. Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements10. Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
