Junior Data Analyst - Johannesburg

You will need basic understanding and some experience working with SQL, Azure, Power BI, and R or Python for data analysis and statistical modeling
Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Utilize Power BI to design, develop, maintain, and deploy interactive dashboards
• Build and understand data workflows to meet SQL, Power BI, and Azure requirements
• Perform data analysis and statistical modeling using R or Python libraries, as required
• Engage with customers to understand and document business requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by adhering to data governance best practices
• Implement and manage data warehouse procedures, including ETL processes, to support business intelligence and reporting needs
• Participate in performance reviews every 3 months to assess progress and potential for a full-time position based on outcomes
