Position : IT Support Technician - Durban

 IT Support Technician needed for providing technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software. The role includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues, as well as assisting in the maintenance and setup of IT equipment. The technician will ensure that all systems are running efficiently and provide end-user support to employees.

  • Respond to IT support requests via email, phone, and in-person.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Set up and manage user accounts, passwords, and access controls.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Assist in the setup and support of remote work solutions.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on IT best practices.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure system security through software updates, antivirus management, and patch installations.
  • Support the implementation of new IT solutions and projects.
  • Maintain compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
