Poste proposé : Human Resources Manager - Matana

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment of Burundi Nationals:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and hire Burundi nationals.
  • Conduct job postings, interviews, and selection processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training.

2. Contract Compliance:

  • Ensure all employment contracts and appointment letters comply with the Burundi Labor Code.
  • Review and update employment contracts as necessary to maintain legal compliance.
  • Provide guidance on labor laws and regulations to management and employees.

3. Contract Agreements with Suppliers and Contractors:

  • Oversee contract agreements with suppliers and contractors.
  • Ensure contracts are in compliance with Burundi laws and regulations.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts to protect the company's interests.
  • Monitor contract performance and address any issues that arise.

4. Leave Management:

  • Administer leave policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Burundi labor laws.
  • Manage leave requests, approvals, and tracking.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee leave and attendance.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees regarding leave entitlements and usage.

5. Compliance:

  • Ensure the company’s HR policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and resources to staff to ensure understanding and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to address any compliance-related issues.

6. Office Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment and facilities.

7. Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, ensuring cost-effective and quality service.

8. Travel Coordination:

  • Arrange travel itineraries, accommodations, and transportation for employees and management.
  • Ensure travel arrangements comply with company policies and budget.

9. Event Coordination:

  • Plan and organize company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and transportation arrangements.

10. Record keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of company documents, contracts, and other important information.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies.

6. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support the company's objectives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
  • Manage employee relations and address any workplace issues or conflicts.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration.
  • Facilitate training and development programs for employees.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling employee information.
  • Provide administrative support to the management team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing documents.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of reports, presentations, and other documentation.

Profil recherché pour le poste : Human Resources Manager - Matana

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Human Resources officer.
  • Strong knowledge of Burundi labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
