Position : Human Resource Manager - Johannesburg

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Manager to lead and manage all HR initiatives, systems, and tactics within our organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping our corporate culture, ensuring compliance, and supporting the overall strategic goals of the business through effective people management.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program in alignment with company goals.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive role (typically 5+ years).
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
