Position : Human Resource Manager (Hospitality Sector) - Accra

We are a dynamic and growing restaurant committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through service excellence, operational efficiency, and a strong people culture.We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resource Manager to oversee all HR functions within our restaurant operations. The HR Manager will be responsible for recruitment, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, payroll coordination, compliance, and building a high-performing hospitality team.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead recruitment for kitchen staff, service teams, supervisors, and management roles.
  • Develop workforce plans aligned with peak seasons and operational demands.
  • Oversee onboarding, induction, and probation management processes.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Promote a positive and professional workplace culture.
  • Manage employee grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
  • Design staff engagement and retention strategies to reduce turnover.

Performance Management & Training

  • Implement performance appraisal systems for all restaurant staff.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate service excellence and compliance training.
  • Support leadership development for supervisors and department heads.

Payroll & HR Administration

  • Oversee payroll preparation in collaboration with finance.
  • Manage attendance records, overtime tracking, and leave administration.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure compliance with Ghana Labour Law and hospitality regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and SOPs tailored to restaurant operations.
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety standards.

HR Reporting & Strategy

  • Provide HR analytics including turnover rates, absenteeism, payroll costs, and productivity metrics.
  • Support management with workforce insights for strategic decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, PHR) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years’ progressive HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of Ghana Labour Law and employee relations practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
