Position : Hotel Maintenance Officer - Tse-Addo, East Labadi

We are looking for an Hotel Maintenance Officer.
This full-time, on-site position based in Teshie, involves conducting maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the hotel operates efficiently. The Hotel Maintenance Officer will oversee equipment maintenance, perform regular inspections, troubleshoot issues, and conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance. Additional responsibilities include addressing electricity-related concerns, providing prompt responses to maintenance requests, and collaborating with other departments to prioritize tasks. The role requires maintaining a high standard of safety and quality to ensure guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities
  • Handle plumbing works, painting, electrical repairs, and general maintenance tasks
  • Perform basic air-conditioning servicing and troubleshooting
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
  • Ensure all maintenance work meets safety and quality standards
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and well-maintained

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ proven working experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Strong hands-on skills in plumbing, painting, electricals, and general maintenance
  • Basic AC servicing skills (cleaning, minor repairs, fault identification)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Willingness to reside on-site or be available as required
  • Excellent communication skills
