Health Records Officer - Nairobi

EarlyCare Innovation Centre is a leading provider of palliative care services in Ridgeways, Nairobi. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our patients. We are currently seeking a skilled Health Records Officer to manage patient health records and ensure accurate documentation for quality care.
The Health Records Officer will be responsible for maintaining, organizing, and securing patient health records while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update patient medical records in both electronic and physical formats.
• Ensure all patient information is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Process patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring records are updated accordingly.
• Assist medical staff with retrieving patient information as needed.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards in handling health data.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, audits, and statistics related to patient care.
• Manage the filing and storage of medical documents and records in accordance with the organization’s policies.
• Train staff on the proper use of health records systems.
