The General Manager - Sales and Operations is a key leadership role focused on driving both business growth and operational efficiency. Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
- Supervise and oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Manage vehicle inspections, fleet management, and logistics to maintain operational excellence.
- Monitor and improve branch performance to align with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Strategic & Financial Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize operations and drive business growth.
- Contribute to budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures.
- Identify quality control issues and implement effective solutions.
- Forecast operational needs and develop plans to enhance productivity.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Ensure employees adhere to operational policies and best practices.
- Oversee human resources functions, including performance management and staff motivation.
- Create and implement HR and marketing policies to support company growth.
Customer Service & Supplier Relations:
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and prompt issue resolution.
- Liaise with external service providers and contractors to support operational needs.
Compliance & Safety:
- Oversee compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations.
- Ensure that operational practices prioritize safety and efficiency.
- Maintain proper record-keeping and reporting structures.
Additional Expectations:
- Be available after hours in case of emergencies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes.
