Job Summary
Sunrise Agrofoods is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to oversee and lead all aspects of our food processing operations. The role is responsible for driving business growth, operational efficiency, product quality, and profitability while ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
The General Manager will provide strategic leadership across production, supply chain, sales, finance, and human resources to achieve organizational objectives and sustain competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • Develop and implement long-term business strategies aligned with company goals
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive revenue growth
  • Monitor industry trends within the food processing/FMCG sector
  • Establish performance targets and ensure achievement of KPIs

2. Operations & Production Management

  • Oversee end-to-end food processing operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Optimize production processes to improve output, reduce waste, and maintain quality
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO)
  • Monitor inventory, procurement, and supply chain activities

3. Financial Management

  • Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts
  • Monitor financial performance, profitability, and cost control measures
  • Analyze operational and financial reports to support decision-making
  • Ensure effective resource allocation across departments

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure consistent product quality and compliance with food safety standards
  • Implement and maintain quality control systems across production
  • Ensure compliance with local and international food regulations
  • Lead audits, inspections, and certification processes

5. Sales, Marketing & Customer Relations

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to grow market share
  • Strengthen relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products
  • Support brand positioning and product development initiatives

6. Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and staff
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Promote workplace safety and employee engagement

7. Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations
  • Introduce technology and automation to enhance efficiency
  • Develop new product lines and improve existing offerings

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 8–12 years of senior management experience in food processing or FMCG industry
  • Strong understanding of production, supply chain, and quality systems
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence
