Position : General Manager - Benin City

We are looking for a General Manager.
As the General Manager (GM) of our 5-star hotel, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring the highest levels of service and guest satisfaction. The GM plays a key role in strategic planning, management of staff, and maintenance of quality standards, contributing to the hotel's overall success and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring efficient processes and high service levels across all departments (e.g., front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage).
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the hotel’s budget, financial performance, and profitability, including forecasting, revenue management, and cost control.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and maintain a motivated workforce. Foster team collaboration and ensure excellent guest service.
  • Guest Relations: Address guest feedback and concerns promptly, ensuring a premier experience that meets the standards of a 5-star establishment.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote hotel services, attract clientele, and enhance the hotel's market position.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as maintaining quality assurance standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years in a senior management role, ideally in a luxury environment.
