Position : Financial Analyst - Gaborone

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and decision-making within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing forecasts, preparing reports, and providing insights that help drive strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and presentations.
  • Support budgeting and financial planning processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
  • Monitor financial performance by tracking KPIs, variances, and trends.
  • Conduct financial modeling to evaluate business scenarios, investment opportunities, and project feasibility.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Identify risks, cost-saving opportunities, and improvement areas in financial operations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and enhance reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (CFA, ACCA, CIMA) are an added advantage.
  • +5 years proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Advanced skills in Excel; experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
