Position : Finance Manager - Nairobi

We are looking for a Finance Manager.
Job Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of Mareva Beauty Company, ensuring strong financial performance, compliance, and sustainability. The role supports strategic decision-making through financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a strong focus on cost control, manufacturing efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Strategy

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Provide financial insights to support product pricing, expansion, and investment decisions.
  • Advise senior management on cost optimization and revenue enhancement initiatives.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Monitor budget performance and conduct variance analysis.
  • Align departmental budgets with production and sales targets.

3. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Ensure timely reporting to management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.

4. Cost Control & Manufacturing Finance

  • Monitor production costs, inventory valuation, and raw material usage.
  • Analyze cost drivers within manufacturing processes and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Support pricing strategies through cost analysis and margin evaluation.

5. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning.
  • Oversee banking relationships, payments, and financial obligations.
  • Optimize capital allocation across operations and projects.

6. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Strengthen internal controls and financial governance frameworks.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulators.

7. Team Leadership

  • Supervise and develop the finance and accounting team.
  • Establish performance targets and ensure high standards of financial management.
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements within the finance function.

Required profile for job ad : Finance Manager - Nairobi

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Professional qualification (CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in finance, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS) and tax regulations
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP software
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
