Position : Fast Food Cashier - Durban City

We are seeking an energetic and customer-oriented Fast Food Cashier to join our dynamic team in the Food & Beverages industry. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our valued customers while ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately process customer orders, handle transactions, and assist with various duties in the front of house.
Responsibilities :

  • Order Taking: Accurately taking customer orders, including food and beverage items.
  • Cash Handling: Handling cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
  • Customer Service: Providing friendly and efficient service to customers.
  • Food Preparation: Assisting with food preparation tasks, such as bagging orders and preparing drinks.
  • Cleaning: Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory control and restocking.

Required profile for job ad : Fast Food Cashier - Durban City

  • Grade 12 or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a fast food or customer service role is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
  • Basic math skills for accurately processing payments and handling cash.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
